Evidence-Based Psychotherapy and Wellness coaching

Psychotherapy

My work with clients is holistic, and rooted in an appreciation for the interconnectedness of mental, physical and social well-being. I take time to cultivate a treatment plan that honours clients' unique goals, circumstances, assets and challenges. Therapy is conducted through a person-centred, integrative framework that incorporates evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment models, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Polyvagal Therapy, parts work (such as Internal Family Systems and Structural Dissociation Theory), and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

Wellness Coaching

Coaches are expert listeners who hear both what you are and are not saying. They are masters of precision who ask powerful questions and stretch your limits in a safe, compassionate atmosphere.

When you work with me, you get a partnership. We assess and develop a holistic understanding of your unique strengths, abilities and challenges to well-being. I take a biopsychosocial approach to developing this understanding, which emphasizes the importance of considering all aspects of identity, experience and background. We then create a personalized wellness plan customized to your unique needs and circumstances. I guide you through the process of discovering your priorities and carving away distractions and obstacles. I support you as you experiment, learn and perfect YOUR path to wellness.

My services are trauma-informed and inclusive. I integrate evidence-based coaching, counselling and body-based techniques into my work with clients. My focus is on enabling effective, growth-promoting behaviour change that honours the inter-connectedness of mind and body. I have postgraduate education in counselling psychology, adapted physical activity, and a certified health and wellness coach.
